Indian mammals published by Hachette India contains information about species of mammals ranging from tigers to whales, pangolin to even-toed ungulates and lesser known species found in India with many photographs helping to understand the appearance and particular traits of that animal.
Field notes now and then are also provided of unusual experiences of the author with animals. Containing all the details one need this book is a must read for tourists, naturalists, environmentalists and all animal lovers. I just love reading this book and I always use this as refernce when talking about animals. The pictures provided are very good and help us understand the the unigue features of that animal. It's incredible and simply magnificent.
