The pages are so thin, like bible pages, that they can easily tear if you are not careful. Although over pages the thickness is the same as a page book.

Other than that, it is fantastic. The over size large print make it a wonderful book to muse through. Did this review help you? Do you want to respond to this review?

I very much enjoyed this book. For the money you can't beat it! Corinda's 13 Steps and a history of Mindreading. Hardcover book, so worth the price! A little overrated I didn't even bother with the Encyclopedia part, I was only after the 13 steps.

After awhile, you realise that so many of these tricks require things that are out of date nowadays. A lot of the props that seem natural are aboslutely not normal anytime. Also, some tricks require a riduculous amount of skill and you ask yourself "That won't actually work, right? And no, they don't actually work most of them. Yes, there are a few hidden gems, but I would definately not consider it "the Bible of Mentalism".

13 Steps to Mentalism PLUS Encyclopedia of Mentalism and Mentalists

Personally speaking, I would go ahead and get The Encyclopedia. I recently sold my copy, but I found a lot of value in both sections of the book. The section on the history of mentalism was fascinating and very enlightening. I wish more people would learn about the rich history of mentalism!
